TietoEVRY is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. These Terms of Usage explains how we process personal data.
The term “personal data”, as used here, refers to any information about you which can be used to personally identify you.
Please read the terms carefully prior to accessing the Website. If you do not agree, please do not provide us with personal data and leave the Website.

Personal data

TietoEVRY processes your personal data in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the national personal data legislation implementing the directive.

What personal information does TietoEVRY process?

Our primary goal in collecting information is to provide you with a friendly, customized and efficient experience. We process the following types of information:

In TUC (TIPS User Community) this is your name, company, title and mail address (see data in your Profile (by clicking on your mail address in the right upper part of the dashboard).

When you visit our Website, TietoEVRY collects your internet protocol (“IP”) addresses in order to track and aggregate non-personal information as you use the Website.
In addition, TietoEVRY automatically receives and stores certain traffic data on our server logs, including your IP address, cookie information, your comments to articles and your interactions on the Website. Tieto uses this data only to diagnose technical problems, analyse trends and administer the Website.

Purpose of processing

TUC is a closed business community. We need the email address, to filter, during registration, persons, who are not customers or partners, to keep the community closed, and for sending the newsletters. We will not hold it for any longer than legally permissible and necessary for these purposes. TUC Users generated automatically via Weblist are in Weblist created by their TIETOEVRY consultants, here we only have the mail address and company unless they add more data in the profile

Transfer of personal data

Personal data may be transferred within the TietoEVRY group of companies. Authorised third-party service providers may be used to process personal data on behalf of TietoEVRY companies with respect to TietoEVRY´s business needs.

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU/ EEA.

By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. TietoEVRY will take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with these Terms of Usage.

TietoEVRY reserves the right to transfer personal data when required by mandatory laws or authorities. TietoEVRY may provide aggregate statistics about its customers, sales, traffic patterns, and other related Website information to third parties, but these statistics do not include personally identifiable data.

Your rights

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you. You can review your personal data in your profile or contact TietoEVRY in order to review the accuracy of the personal data related to you. Upon your request, Tietoevry will rectify or delete any incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal data.

You may withdraw your consent for processing of your personal data. As the processing of your personal data is necessary in order for us to be able to provide you with our services, revoking your consent may lead to a situation in which we cannot provide you with some or all of the services.

You can also delete your account, when you don’t want to be TUC-user anymore (you just have to click on your mail-address in the upper right part of the screen, and there in your profile data you find the button to ‘Delete Account’.

Cookies and other tools

COOKIES

Cookies are pieces of information shared between your web browser and a website. Use of cookies enables a faster and easier experience for the user. A cookie cannot read data off your computer’s hard drive.

This enables our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how, when and which pages in our Website are visited and by how many people, and also enables us to recognize a return visitor as a unique user. WEBSITE ANALYTICS

This site does use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site. Our Website may contain links to other websites and “share” buttons (such as YouTube or Facebook) that are not operating on TietoEVRY’s behalf.
